Tasting note
Bernard-Massard was established in 1921 by the Champagne-trained Jean Bernard-Massard. The Cuvée de l'Écusson is made of 100% Pinot Noir and has generous aromas of red apple, Bing cherries, red plum, dark raspberry, citrus and toast. Lively and crisp, it features more red fruit and toast on the palate, and some nice grip. Quite a finessed wine. (VINTAGES panel, Sept. 2013)
