Tasting note

Inviting aromas of apple, citrus and crushed rocks. The palate is quite complex and satisfying, with crunchy green apple and pear with touches of green olive and a pleasing salinity. A consistent mineral note lays a marvellous flavour foundation. A great choice for grilled seafood or chicken dishes. (VINTAGES panel, July 2015)

Yellow-white colour, with aromas of exotic and citrus fruits, green apple, peach and grapefruit. A refined wine, zesty, with an intense metallic character, a rich body, wonderfully balanced taste and a long and strong aromatic aftertaste.

This wine, from the Greek island of Santorini, is made from the local Assyrtiko grape variety, and is a natural match with shellfish.
