Tasting note
Youthful and showing nice bright blackberry, violet, blueberry, plum, chocolate and a touch of cassis. The palate is full, soft and quite lush textured with lots of black fruit backed by some interesting pepper, earth, dried herbs and graphite with quite firm but ripe tannins Score - 89. Featured in TASTE Magazine, Winter 2012 issue. This blend has a fairly pronounced aroma of ripe black fruit with a touch of vanilla. The wine is dry with fresh acidity that pushes the tangy black cherry and black raspberry flavours. A bit of oak spice and ripe chewy tannins add interest and mouth feel to this delicious and juicy Bordeaux-style blend.
