Tasting note

Deep ruby-purple colour foreshadows aromas and flavours of fresh black cherry, blackcurrant, cedar plank and woodsmoke. It's medium-full bodied, juicy and round with mouth-coating, slightly chewy, ripe, youthful tannins. Stick it in your cellar for 3-5 years, or decant and enjoy with steak fajitas and hearty black bean soup. (VINTAGES panel, Nov. 2012)

Deep garnet violet color. Mocha ganache, fig, blackberry, and date cake aromas with a supple dry-yet-fruity medium- to full-body and a tangy lightly smoky cedar finish with firm, chewy tannins. Pair with spicy Latin beef dishes.
