Tasting note
A complex nose of dark cherry, raspberry, strawberry, spice, toffee, mocha, vanilla and smoke. Good structure and presence in the mouth with nice replays and an emerging tartness to the cherry tones. Very dry finish. (VINTAGES panel, Oct. 2014)
Lush flavors of plum, chocolate and clove mingle with hints of dark berries. Pair this with baked brie, pork belly, ox tail stew, or osso buco.
