Tasting note

This has a lifted, complex nose of smoked meat, campfire, fresh herbs (bay leaf) spice and wet earth. Some dried currant and pomegranate fruit as well. It's medium-full bodied, fairly dense and high in acid, with some tarry character. Some sourness and bitterness on the finish. Score - 88. (David Lawrason, winealign.com, Nov. 2016)

This dry purplish red coloured wine features intense woody, empyreumatic, spicy and fruity scents and offers a broad texture as well as fleshy tannins.
