Tasting note
... Aromas of smoked cherries, beetroot and fine spices with hint of grilled wild herbs, forest floor and cocoa. Expect sweet fruit on the palate, smoke and tart red fruit notably, cranberry and sour cherry and plenty of cedary flavours. Very juicy with a nice texture and decent finish. Decant before serving and pair with creamy washed rind cheeses, salmon or Burgundian specialties (Daenna Van Mulligen, winediva.ca, Dec. 13, 2010)
Cherry, plum and cloves. Velvety tannins.
Nose: earthy, dried fruit. Taste: strawberry, a little blueberry.
"Recently a group of BC producers submitted their Pinot Noir wines to the Burghound writer Alan Meadows for a looksee under the hood. Darned if the regular CedarCreek Pinot Noir didn’t get 90 points. Lush and textural this is a well-made Pinot Noir that is fruit laden and structural. Very delicious now and you can put one or two away for later if you can wait."
