Tasting note

Aromas of Black Forest cake, shoe polish, plum and woodsmoke with undertones of leather and meat. Medium bodied, lithe and elegant and just beginning to show its development. Fleshy tannins and great balance promise great potential for enjoyment over the next 5 years. This one calls for roast beef, with emphasis on the beef. (VINTAGES panel, Jan. 2013)

This dry, full-bodied and woody red displays a simple and intense nose. On the palate, its refreshing acidity, firm tannins, and broad texture precede a long finish.

Plum, blackberry and cedar abound in a firm tannic grip on the palate and persist in the lengthy finish.
