Love the restraint and delicacy of this champagne - and so will the Europhile on your list. Subtle aromas of cooked apple, rolled pastry and sea salt lead to an immediate and racy attack of salt and stone laced with the gentlest note of lemon oil - all pinned to a tight core of cooked Granny Smith apple.
