Tasting note
Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2013 Parson's Nose Shiraz has a pronounced nose of wild blueberries, crushed black plums and menthol with hints of cloves and anise. Full-bodied and richly fruited on the palate, the generous flavors are well supported by rounded tannins and lively acid before finishing with great length. Drink it now to 2019+. Score - 90+. Decadent layers of Satsuma plum, star anise and blueberries are seamlessly underpinned by luscious firm tannins.
This wine displays decadent aromas of blueberries and star anise, dusted with cinnamon spice and brimming with Satsuma plum flavours. A versatile food wine that works with all types of red meats and charcuterie.
