Tasting note
The 2009 The Chosen Gorge Block Cabernet Sauvignon presents a very deep garnet-black color with a hint of purple and pronounced notes of warm mulberries, dried plums, creme de cassis and mocha with hints of meat, sandalwood, Chinese five spice and cigar boxes. Very full bodied and packed with warm cassis and dried berry flavors, the plush fruit is well balanced by firm grainy tannins and enlivening acid, finishing long. Drink it now to 2020+. Score - 92.
