Tasting note

Hazy, green-tinged straw. Meyer lemon, quince and honeydew aromas are enlivened by a zesty white pepper nuance. Dry and nervy on the palate, offering tangy citrus fruit and ginger flavors and a touch of quinine. Closes taut and dry, with lingering citrus and bitter herb qualities. I find it interesting that this wine is less opulent than Chalk Hill's sauvignon blanc in this vintage. Score - 89. (Stephen Tanzer, vinous.com, May 2014)
