Tasting note
Lively nose of cherry, strawberry, plum and vanilla with hints of olive and fresh herbs. Smooth, round and fruit-driven with good aroma replays, and moderately ripe tannins giving a fine framework. Pair with hunter-style chicken braised in a tomato-based sauce with bacon, onions, garlic, rosemary, thyme and red wine. (VINTAGES panel, Feb. 2012)
This dry and ruby coloured red showcases a complex nose releasing animal, empyreumatic, spicy and fruity scents. You will be charmed with this medium-bodied wine revealing a broad texture, fleshy tannins and a medium finish.
