Tasting note
The 2004 Cabernet Sauvignon 'Ethos' is 100% Cabernet blended from four different AVAs and was aged for 22 months in 95% new French and American oak. The nose is a bit muted but with coaxing cedar and plums appear. The wine's personality is lean with some Bordeaux-like elegance to the spicy black fruit flavors. It has enough structure to evolve for 3-5 years and should drink well through 2024. It is quite possible that this Cabernet will fill out and merit an outstanding rating in a few years. Drink Date: 2010-2024. Score - 89+. (Jay Miller, robertparker.com, Aug. 30, 2007)
