Tasting note

A perfect example of the how this region expresses Old World sophistication with a New World sensibility. Very fruit-forward on the nose and palate, with evocative herbal notes, particularly oregano, and a savoury woodspice. The finish is quite lengthy and tasty. This is French wine with an Australian outlook on life. Perfect with pan-seared beef medallions in a red wine sauce. (VINTAGES panel, June 2012)

This dry purplish red coloured wine features medium woody, empyreumatic and fruity scents and offers a broad texture as well as firm tannins.
