Tasting note
Made with the classic Port grapes: 40% Tinta Roriz, 40% Touriga Franca, and 20% Touriga Nacional. There are lovely sweet notes in the midst of this dry red, with lots of blackberry, cocoa, raspberry, spicy oak, and blackcurrant jam on the palate. Medium-full bodied and supple, with nice balance and length. An excellent match for a really robust beef stew, or some aged cheese. (VINTAGES panel, April 2010)
