Tasting note

It is a beautiful, deep garnet in the glass, with powerful aromas of blackberries, cherries, cloves and black pepper. The first sip reveals raspberries and black currants, which are later joined by vanilla, spices and anise. It is a rich, lush full-bodied wine, with a velvety mouthfeel ... This wine would go well with all kinds of meals, from simple food such as pizza and burgers, to elegant meals such as a duck ragout, leg of lamb or a rich stew. The 2013 Directors Cut Zinfandel demonstrates a lush full body and velvety palate. Scents of blackberries, cherries, cloves, black pepper and oak are followed by favors of black currants and raspberries that are enlivened with intriguing notes of bramble, anise, and spices.

The Zinfandel offers texture and body plus an exotic perfume of marion berries, cherry liqueur and anise. Sweet, juicy impressions of plums and mixed berries mingle with notes of chocolate and nutmeg. You’ ll also detect a hint of sandalwood.
