Tasting note

'Footbolt' pays homage to the name of the racehorse that founder Joseph Osborn had to sell in order to get the d'Arenberg winery off the ground in 1912. Big and bold on the nose with intense black fruit, cherry, plum and cocoa tones. Fresh and long, this will be a great option for grilled lamb or steak. (Vintages panel, Sept. 2015)

Purplish red in colour, this red boasts a medium nose exuding woody, spicy, floral, fruity and vegetal aromas. Discover this full-bodied wine expressing refreshing acidity and offering a broad texture and fleshy tannins. It also unveils a intense mouthfeel that leads into a long finish.

Aromas of blackberries, blueberries, liquorice, mint, pepper, spice, earth and mocha. Medium bodied it displays rich blackberry and black plum flavours with hints of spice, liquorice and smoky, mocha oak. Ripe fleshy tannins, the finish lingers.

This plush Shiraz has fragrant aromas of dark berry, cherry pit, spicy floral notes and hints of licorice. It is rich, full-bodied with generous juicy flavours. Good immediately with braised lamb, beef casseroles and stir-frys.
