Tasting note

With the new amphitheatre of vines. Mercurol, Larnage, no fruit from the Plaine de Chassy which can produce rather soft fruit. All raised in oak - foudres and third-use barrels. Very good juicy Syrah fruit, energetic and muscular. Not that much tannin. Drink 2015-2018. Score - 16.5 out of 20. (Jancis Robinson, MW, jancisrobinson.com, Dec. 30, 2013)

This dry, medium-bodied and spicy red displays a complex and medium nose. On the palate, its refreshing acidity, smooth tannins, and broad texture precede a medium finish.
