Tasting note
The 2012 Saint Joseph is a beauty that's loaded with sweet red and black fruit, cured meats, chocolate, and wood-spice aromas and flavors. Deep ruby colored, medium- to full-bodied, supple and downright sexy, it needs a year or two to integrate its oak, but will have 10-15 years of longevity. I like it. Score - 91.
