Tasting note
This dry purplish red coloured wine features intense spicy, fruity and vegetal scents and offers a broad texture as well as fleshy tannins.
The first impression is of the Carmenere grape, quickly followed by aromas of ripe fruit, cassis, raspberries and dried apricots, melded with balsamic tones of spice and tobacco. There are hints of coffee, cassis, bitter chocolate and vanilla in the persistent finish.
Deep ruby red colour; aromas of candied black cherry, herb and eucalyptus; dry, medium to full bodied, with flavours of cassis, mineral and pepper; well balanced structure; moderate to good length.
An attractive, bright and deep ruby red. Complex, fresh and generous, the nose opens on intense notes of ripe red fruit. Spice, blackberry and blackcurrant then mingle with aromas of mocha and toasted hazelnut. Palate: A powerful and flavorsome attack leads into a beautifully balanced mid-palate underpinned by an elegant, slightly mineral tannic structure. The subtle interplay of black fruit, spice and roasted coffee flavors shows an attractive complexity. The long and stylish finish expresses all the character of the Chilean terroir, perfectly combining Cabernet elegance with the roundness and powerful flavors of Syrah and Carmenere.
