Tasting note
Medium ruby red colour; aromas of red cherry, dried herbs, nuanced by vanilla notes; dry, medium-bodied, velvety tannins, displaying flavours of liquorice, spice and red cherries on the finish.
This dry ruby coloured wine features light spicy and fruity scents and offers a broad texture as well as fleshy tannins.
Aromas of violets and ripe red fruits and rich flavours of brown spice and berries. Medium to full-bodied, balanced with clean acidity, smooth tannins and a dry, lingering finish.
Gabbiano Chianti as a subtle nose with mushroom aromas. The sip is bright with red cherry and ripe cherry tomato. There are elements of red licorice of pepper in the medium length.

Featured in TASTE Magazine Spring 2012 issue. This Chianti starts with wafting aromas of beef, cherries, earth, and minerals before caressing the palate with warm and enticing flavours of aged steak cooked rare, dusty cherries and slight note of green olive. A hint of tannic astringency on the finish reveals a structure that would benefit food. This is a good value, medium- to full-bodied wine that’s perfect for mid-week pizza.
