Tasting note

Very deep garnet-purple in color, 2008 Filsell Shiraz has intense notes of anise, blackberry and cherry preserves with whiffs of balsamic and prunes. Full and well fleshed, it has crisp acid and firm rounded tannins with a long rather straightforward finish. Approachable now, it should remain good to 2016. Score - 89. This dry and purplish red coloured red showcases a complex nose releasing spicy, floral, fruity and vegetal scents. You will be charmed with this full-bodied wine revealing a full-bodied texture, fleshy tannins and a long finish.

Incredible depth of colour with purple hues to a dark deep red. Nose of dark chocolate, licorice and raspberry with hints of lavender. Intense red berry fruits with ripe blackberries and rhubarb infused with spice and rich vanilla. Soft palate with optimal balance.
