Tasting note
Gorgeous and consistent wine that balances fruit density with toasty developed character and always, always elegant. Plenty of citrus, green apple and wild strawberry flavours are robed in brioche and roasted nuts all carried into a lengthy finish on a creamy, sensuous texture. Complex from a high percentage of reserve wines, vinous from 60+ percent of pinot noir, and yeasty from several years in the bottle - it's rich but lithe and well-framed by chalky minerals. Score - 94. (D.J. Kearney, winealign.com, Dec. 15, 2014)
Beautiful golden colour. Persistent sparkle, fine, regular bubbles. Pleasant nose made very elegant by the large amount of Chardonnay. Sharp, well-balanced and harmonious on the palate.
Symbol of the precisely elegant style of Champagne Henriot's wines. Brut Souverain appeals with its nose of white flower and citrus fruit notes and a balanced, harmonious palate. Ideal as an aperitif.
