Tasting note

50% grenache, 23% mourvedre, 22% shiraz with 5% of cinsaut and carignan, 15% whole bunches, matured in used French oak for 16 months. There are no other Barossa Valley Rhone blends wine with this composition and sheer elegance. It is willowy and savoury, with mouth-cleansing acidity, yet also with a garland of diverse red fruit flavours, all fresh, none sticky or jubey. Simply lovely. Drink By: 2023. Special Value. Under the cherry-red colour, the nose is medium and complex. Enjoy this dry, full-bodied and spicy red featuring lively acidity. On the palate, it showcases fleshy tannins and a broad mouthfeel that leads into a long finish.
