Our 2011 Meritage displays a deep red colour and a complex bouquet with aromas of ripe cherry, plum and a hint of chocolate layered in with spicy oak character and smooth tannins. “Meritage” is a new World wine term referencing Old World, Bordeaux-style wines. inniskillin’s Meritage marries the three classic grapes Merlot (75 percent), Cabernet Sauvignon (15 percent), and Cabernet Franc (10 percent) to create a plush, tobacco and plum-nuanced red.
