There's a reason this Cab is the most popular red in the VINTAGES Essentials Collection. It's full bodied and packed with black cherry, blackcurrant, cedar, vanilla and spice. Equally at home with a casual steak sandwich or a thick rib-eye steak.
This dry cherry-red coloured wine features intense woody, empyreumatic, spicy and fruity scents and offers a full-bodied texture as well as fleshy tannins.
On the nose are dark cherry, black currant and berry fruits, spicy cedar, vanilla and toasty notes. On the palate, the fruit follows through with full weight and a lingering intensity and balance from the tannins. Peak drinking now and through the next five years.
A deep ruby colour with rich purple hues. The aromas are of blackberry and plum with a hint of blueberry, and some chocolate and toasted oak overtones. On the palate, expect berries, chocolate and smoky toasted oak. The flavours are rich and full, with a soft, supple texture and a lingering finish.
Our Seven Oaks Cabernet is grown in our vineyards in the Estrella Hills area of Paso Robles, one of only three appellations in California that produce "world class" Cabernet Sauvignon. This wine has aromas and bouquets of cherry, blueberry, violets and vanilla. The flavours are lusciously full, balanced by firm tannins. A perfect companion to grilled beef, rich lasagna or dark chocolate truffles.
