Tasting note

One of the greatest aspects of Cabernet Sauvignon is that no matter where it is grown it remains distinctly Cabernet. Rather than becoming overwhelmed by the aromas and flavours provided by its location, it incorporates them to create wonderfully nuanced expressions. This South African example delivers notes of blueberry and blackberry, cedar, spice and currants with licorice and chocolate undertones. There is great structure and depth on the palate here with tremendously concentrated fruits, well integrated and balanced tannins. This will reward 3-5 years in the cellar or will work tonight with gourmet burgers or grilled ribs.
