Looking for some fruit and finding it peaking through the fluffy wooden clouds. If this Liberty School can find a pure fruit expression within the context of a hurried barrel plan then imagine the possibilities beyond. I would suggest giving this a taste to gain a 101 understanding of California and dichotomously more broadly, Central Coast Chardonnay. Take it from there. Drink 2016-2018. Score - 88. Golden yellow in colour, this white boasts a intense nose exuding woody, spicy and fruity aromas. Discover this full-bodied wine expressing refreshing acidity and offering a full-bodied texture. It also unveils a intense mouthfeel that leads into a long finish.

Aromas of apples, tropical fruits, wild flowers and vanilla with accents of honey, oak and lemon drops on the nose. Flavours of dense, rich, ripe fruit and notes of butterscotch on the palate.

Fruit driven in style, Liberty School Chardonnay offers aromas of green apple and citrus blossom. Bright flavours of citrus, pineapple, bosc pear, honey and a subtle hint of toasted oak are balanced by a clean, crisp finish.

Liberty School Chardonnay shows bright, intense aromas of orange blossom, lemon and green apple. On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied with bright acids and soft oak notes reminiscent of sweet apples and candied pears. A long balanced and smooth finish leaves a satisfying impression.

2011 Liberty School Chardonnay has a brilliant pale-lemon colour and soft aromas of citrus fruit and freshly sliced Granny Smith apples. The bright acidity seamlessly coalesces with the wine's flavours of lime, apple, pear and butterscotch. Excellent structure with a long and clean finish.
