Tasting note
Fun-loving, fruity Zin with plenty of plum, bumbleberry jam and cinnamon stick character. The texture is fleshy, ripe and easygoing with a warm, spiced finish. A good choice for saucy ribs or chicken wings. (VINTAGES panel, Dec. 2013)
Under the cherry-red colour, the nose is intense and complex. Enjoy this dry, full-bodied and woody red featuring refreshing acidity. On the palate, it showcases fleshy tannins and a full-bodied mouthfeel that leads into a long finish.
Deep ruby in color, this wine boasts classic Zinfandel aromas of rich leather, tobacco and black cherry. Flavors of plum, espresso and black licorice dance on the tongue, blending with hints of smoke and spice that linger on the finish. The Liberty School fruit-driven style lends ease to food pairing. The Zinfandel 2010 is the perfect wine to enjoy with friends and family over cooked meats, pasta dishes and hearty stews.
