Tasting note
The 2014 Terroir Único Malbec was described to me as a cherry and violet juice spiced up with cracked pepper. There was a cold maceration to extract those wild fruit aromas and then the fermentation was carried out with indigenous yeasts in cement vats at low-ish temperatures. The wine matured in cement vats before bottling, and never saw any wood. Juicy, silky and very drinkable with polished, sweet tannins and very good length, the palate reveals a purity, a sense of harmony and subtle balance that is amazing for a wine of this price. Unbelievable value! Drink Date: 2015 - 2017. Score - 90. (Luis Gutierrez, robertparker.com, Aug. 27, 2015)
