Tasting note

Expressive and very Pinot aromas with ripe cherry, dark fruit and underbrush tones with a lifted floral note. The palate is a picture-perfect reflection of the aromas. Ripe and excellent. Enjoy with a slow-cooked beef stew with shiitake mushrooms. This delivers a lot of Pinot for the price, so give the nod to the Ned - 'nuff said. (VINTAGES panel, May 2013)

A rich but focused wine, the 2012 Pinot Noir will age for five to seven years and pairs beautifully with flavoursome meats such as duck and venison with a side of roasted baby beets, wild rocket arugula and a goat's milk feta. "Soft, silky and pure, this charming Pinot Noir is delightful and perfect for entertaining." (December 2013 Insider Pick by Kim Giesbrecht, Portfolio Manager for Beer, Refreshment Beverages, Australia and New Zealand Wines)
