Tasting note

From the clay and limestone soil of northern Spain comes this elegant Rioja aged in oak barrels. Expect spicy, dark-fruit flavours, a toasty nuance and a woody finish.

Under the cherry-red colour, the nose is intense and complex. Enjoy this dry, full-bodied and woody red featuring refreshing acidity. On the palate, it showcases fleshy tannins and a broad mouthfeel that leads into a long finish.

Cherry-red colour with good robe. Spicy, balsamic aromas of great complexity, with notes of ripe dark berries and light toasted nuances. On the palate it is full and tasty, with good structure and rounded, elegant tannins. The finish is long and fresh, with a slight reminder of the fine oak. This wine goes well with ham, mild cheeses, casseroles which are not highly spiced, bean and pulse dishes, poultry, red meat, grills and roasts. Best served at between 16º and 18ºC.

Silky texture and complex aromas of vanilla, sweet herbs and strawberry preserves make this delicious wine a good partner for roast game hen.
