Tasting note
Deep ruby red colour; aromas of ripe red cherries and spice; the palate is extra dry, full-bodied with dominating flavours of cherries, red berry fruit and a nice backbone of spice; tannins are soft and the finish is medium.
This dry and ruby coloured red showcases a complex nose releasing woody, empyreumatic, spicy and fruity scents. You will be charmed with this medium-bodied wine revealing a broad texture, smooth tannins and a medium finish.
Masi Campofiorin Ripasso is made with partially dried grapes that has rich cherry fruit with notes of tobacco and brown spice backed by an elegant finish. This works well with any number of foods, from simple antipasti to roast pork to veal marsala.
Ripe, fresh fruit and raisin fruit equally prominent on the nose combined with sweet spices, especially vanilla and cinnamon. Ample and complex on the palate, but well rounded and very easy to drink at the same time. The aftertaste has ripe fruit and cherry flavors with hints of vanilla on the finish.
This medium-bodied, ruby-hued wine is deep, dark and down-to-earth. Jammy raisin, spicy black cherry, cedar and toasty vanilla dominate the palate and the finish is round and harmonious.
