Vibrant and pure red fruit bouquet, with a thin veil of cinnamon and clove adding interest; the palate is medium-bodied with a huge sweet spot on the mid-palate; quite silky and precise to conclude. Screwcap. Drink [until] 2016. Score - 91. (James Halliday, winecompanion.com.au, Jan. 2010)

It comes across as a “Philip” shiraz-style with silky medium-bodied style, bright red fruits of mulberry and dark cherries. The finish is long and elegant showcasing the savoury tannins typical of classic Hunter Shiraz that will continue to evolve over the next few years.
