Tasting note

Is this the year the Select Lot Collection Chardonnay gets its due topping the Reserve and nudging Perpetua. The attack is fresh and light offering lemon, floral, honey, vanilla notes with flecks of apricot. The American oak, a third new and one year old is beautifully integrated into the wine allowing the citrus, apple, floral, spicy lees flavours to leak through. This dry, full-bodied and fruity white displays a complex and medium nose. On the palate, its refreshing acidity and broad texture precede a long finish.
