Tasting note
The term Mollydooker is Aussie slang for 'left-hander,' but no worries, there's nothing sinister going on in the bountiful cassis, dark cherry and plum sauce of this massive Cabernet Sauvignon. Juicy, ripe and smooth on the tongue with allspice adding complexity to the fruity core, it's got enough tannic framework to evolve for 3-5 years. Pair with meat pie and garlic mashed potatoes, or grilled leg of mutton with roasted root veggies and rosemary. (Vintages panel, Dec. 2015)
This dry and ruby coloured red showcases a complex nose releasing woody, empyreumatic, spicy, fruity and vegetal scents. You will be charmed with this full-bodied wine revealing a full-bodied texture, fleshy tannins and a long finish.
