Tasting note

Rich and ripe, with notes of paprika and cardamom to the dark plum, dried berry and roasted cherry flavors. The peppery finish is supported by firm tannins and features dark chocolate details. Drink now through 2019. Score - 90. (Kim Marcus, winespectator.com, May 31, 2016)

The colour is deep and ruby red. This wine shows elegant Carmènere character, with lovely black pepper aromas and hints of blueberries, dark chocolate, vanilla and black plums accompanied by spicy notes typical of the varietal. The mouthfeel is distinctively smooth, with gentle, rounded and soft tannins and a long finish while the oak is beautifully integrated and balanced. Highly recommended with red meats, Mongolian beef, pork ribs, spaghetti with Bolognese sauce, and lamb chops.
