Tasting note
Under the garnet colour, the nose is intense and complex. Enjoy this dry, full-bodied and woody red featuring refreshing acidity. On the palate, it showcases fleshy tannins and a broad mouthfeel that leads into a medium finish.
Quite ripe, with lush raspberry and fig flavours kept honest by a dash of grilled herb. Roasted vanilla and spice notes linger on the polished finish. Drink now.
Colour: Dark ruby Bouquet: Aromas of black currant, cassis, chocolate and mocha. Palate: Ripe blackberry and currant, mocha and a hint of oak spices with firm but supple tannins. A well-structured wine with a lush and round mouthfeel. Food suggestions: Excellent served with rosemary-infused lamb, petit poussin with thyme, seared AAA rump, fillet or sirloin, or Châteaubriand.
