Tasting note

The 2012 Chardonnay has a subtle, understated bouquet with hints of almond, potpourri and wild heather emerging delicately from the glass. The palate is nicely poised right from the start - a fine line of acidity and an agreeable sense of linearity and focus. This is a more neutral Chardonnay, but it works very well and allows a nuanced marine element to come through on the finish. This is very fine indeed. Drink now-2017. Score - 92. This dry, full-bodied and woody white displays a complex and intense nose. On the palate, its lively acidity and full-bodied texture precede a medium finish.
