Tasting note

This dry and purplish red coloured red showcases a complex nose releasing empyreumatic, spicy and fruity scents. You will be charmed with this full-bodied wine revealing a broad texture, fleshy tannins and a long finish.

On the palate, an outstanding quality, classic Barossa Shiraz. Features powerful mouth-filling velvety fruit characters on the middle palate, and finishes long with soft tannins and beautifully integrated oak. Excellent with braised lamb shanks, rare beef, and richly flavoured casseroles.

The Peter Lehmann Futures Shiraz had a deep red-black colour with a dark centre reflecting the great 2012 vintage in the Barossa. The bouquet is loaded with spicy plum and chocolate notes delivering firm, rich flavours with a long finish.
