Tasting note

Cherry-red in colour, this red boasts a intense nose exuding woody, empyreumatic, spicy and fruity aromas. Discover this full-bodied wine expressing refreshing acidity and offering a broad texture and fleshy tannins. It also unveils a intense mouthfeel that leads into a long finish.

A mouthful of velvet black fruit with some raspberry, beautifully balanced by the soft underpinning of the predominantly French oak which does not dominate the fruit. It has good soft, yet firm tannins and finishes long. Excellent with rare roast beef, saddle of hare or roasted lamb racks. Also a wonderful partner to matured cheddar and fresh crusty bread.
