Tasting note
Saturated ruby. Ripe red fruit, peppery spices and candied lavender on the nose, lifted and sharpened by a smoky mineral nuance. Gently sweet, palate-coating raspberry, cherry and floral pastille flavors become spicier and more lively with air. Supple and round, finishing quite long; subtle spicy bite and even tannins meld smoothly with the juicy fruit. Score - 90. (Josh Raynolds, vinous.com, June 2016)
This dry, full-bodied and fruity red displays a complex and medium nose. On the palate, its refreshing acidity, fleshy tannins, and broad texture precede a long finish.
Featured in TASTE Magazine, Winter 2012 issue. This red is a delicious blend of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre with aromas and flavours of dark juicy fruits, herbs, spice and light minerality. The palate has a plush, full texture, integrated tannins and an earthy, plummy and pruney long-lasting finish. Pair with lamb, roasted meats and gamey cuisines. Enjoy now or cellar three to five years.
