Tasting note
Grown in the Red Paw Vineyard, this Pinot Noir is born out of the distinctively red Trafalgar clay soil that is particularly old (450 million years at that!) and rare in the Niagara region. It offers whiffs of cherry and cedar on the nose and a savoury palate consisting of umami, beets, baking spices and earth, with a vibrant rush of refreshing acidity giving focus. (Vintages panel, Aug. 2015)
Strawberry and cranberry flavours with velvety texture and sweet oak tannins.
