Tasting note

Made with 92% Syrah and 8% Pinot Noir with a quarter of the fruit kiln-dried for extra depth of flavour and texture, this wine is fermented in oak and aged 30 months in barriques. Aromas of rose petals prelude big blackberry, strawberry, white pepper and chocolate character on the palate, which shows good structure and balance. Pair with hearty meats, sharp cheeses or dark chocolate. (Vintages panel, March 2017)
