Tasting note

This is pretty much in the groove for the ever-reliable Pikes Traditionale, so safe to say, you can grab one from the wine fridge in the coming season with no problem: it's one of the 'safe words' of Australian Riesling, so to speak. Lime blossom, talc, spice and slatey things. Soft and juicy, almost a vanilla perfume, light crunch and flintiness, and a finish that closes firm and slatey. Drink: 2015-2025. Score - 93.
