Tasting note

Süssreserve involves saving some of the just-pressed juice and adding it back to the wine after fermentation, lending fruity freshness and a kiss of natural sweetness. Fragrant flowers, clover honey, citrus and pear set the scene aromatically here. The palate is juicy and bright, with that gentle sweetness cleansed by a tart-and-tangy finish. Rosewood's signature Süssreserve Riesling is made by adding unfermented Riesling juice back into the wine after the base wine has fermented. Adding the "süss" adds acidity, sweetness and complexity. This fan favourite has vibrant notes of lime, green apple and lemon that explodes with texture and flavour. Best served chilled with fish tacos, sushi, butter chicken, grilled calamari and spicy Asian-inspired dishes.
