Tasting note

This is made with Similkameen fruit. Refreshing crisp and tangy, the wine has aromas and flavours of lemon and lime, with herbal notes on the finish. Score - 90. (John Schreiner, johnschreiner.blogspot.com, July 10, 2014)

This wine starts with intriguing aromas of lemon, chalk, sugar snap peas along with ripe tropical mango, passion fruit and banana. The palate is dry, racy and fresh with crisp minerality and chalky acidity and flavors of lemon, nectarine, gooseberry, green melon; and a long, savory, dry finish. The racy intensity of this wine will be perfect with fresh goats cheese, salads, or spring salmon sautéed in lemon and garlic butter.
