Tasting note
Bold aromas of black fruit and tar on the nose, with full-bodied layers of blackberries and dark spices on the palate. Nicely crafted, but not for the timid. This Cabernet also has a dash of Malbec, Merlot, Petite Sirah and Petit Verdot in the blend for extra dimension and nuance. Great balance and nice finish. Great dinner party wine. Pair with: beef stew with winter vegetables, pork tenderloin, brisket. Drink: 2013-2016. Score - 92. (Natalie MacLean, nataliemaclean.com, Aug. 3, 2013)
This dry and purplish red coloured red showcases a complex nose releasing woody, empyreumatic, fruity and vegetal scents. You will be charmed with this full-bodied wine revealing a broad texture, fleshy tannins and a long finish.
