Tasting note
Aromas of plum, cherry and smoky bacon. The palate is structured and full with juicy red fruits and loads of smoky goodness, with a mineral note providing a nice additional layer of complexity. Smoky and fun, this will be a fine match for a variety of grilled foods, from eggplant or portobello mushrooms to chicken, burgers or ribs. (VINTAGES panel, Dec. 2014)
This dry purplish red coloured wine features intense woody, empyreumatic, spicy and fruity scents and offers a broad texture as well as fleshy tannins.
The palate is fruit forward, filled with raspberries and a long finish of crushed pepper and earl grey tea. The wine is medium to dark crimson in color and displays briary white pepper spiciness
